The System Administrator needs to check the logs of VPN, IDS, Firewall, and Content Filter everyday. But he / she feels
inconvient to verify the DFL-900 logs. He / She hopes to decrease the checking procedure.
17.2 Objectives

The System administrator would like to view the daily log report of DFL-900.
17.3 Methods

Use the syslog server to receive mail. Or edit the "Mail Logs" page of DFL-900. Make the log mailed out automatically
every periodic time.
17.4 Steps
Step 1 ¡ Ð
Setup Syslog Server
Setup Syslog Server by checking the Enable
Syslog Server. It will let DFL-900 send logs
to the Syslog Server specified in the "Syslog
Server IP Address" field.
