administrative connection to the array's storage controllers. You use this connection to open a
command terminal and enter Array Configuration Utility (ACU) commands to the controllers.
The HP XC implementation of the ACU provides a command-line interface (CLI) only.
The controller management cable is a serial console cable. This cable has a DB-style female plug,
which you connect to the port labeled console serial A on the control node. The other end of the
cable is a male RJ-45Z plug, which you connect to the RJ-45Z port on the front of the controller.
Other storage array topics are discussed in the HP XC System Software Installation Guide.

3.5 Power-Up Sequence

There is no primary On/Off button on an HP Cluster Platform cluster. When the PDUs are turned
on, the power supply begins to operate. When the power is applied, you might need to manually
turn on the individual nodes. Alternatively you can power nodes on through the console using
the iLO feature. (If some application nodes do not boot successfully, check their network
connections.)
