5.5.1 Layer 2 Interface Configuration

Click the Add button in the Layer 2 Interface screen to open the following
screen. Use this screen to create a new layer-2 interface. At the time of writing,
you can configure only one PTM interface on the Device. You can have multiple
ATM layer-2 interfaces using different VPI and/or VCI values. The screen varies
depending on the interface type you select.

DESCRIPTION
Click the Remove button to delete this interface from the Device. A
window displays asking you to confirm that you want to delete the
interface.
You cannot remove the layer-2 interface when a WAN service is
associated with it.
This option is available for an ATM (ADSL) interface. Select this to use
double upstream mode to increase the maximum upstream transfer
rate.
This option is only available on the P-870HN-51b.
Click this button to create a new layer-2 interface.
This button is available for an ATM (ADSL) interface. Click Apply to
save your changes back to the Device.
