To install the component:
Power down the server (on page 22).

Install the storage controller.

Connect the hot-plug SAS/SATA cable to the controller.

Slide the server back into the rack.

HP SAS Expander Card option

The HP SAS Expander Card is an optional controller that provides up to 24 connectors for internal SAS
hard drives.
IMPORTANT:
To install the component:
