Accessing the Graphical User Interface

After you start ClearPass Guest, the initial startup screen is displayed in the console.
To open the ClearPass Guest graphical user interface (GUI):
Either type or copy and paste the displayed URL into your Web browser.

The default login settings for new installations require https: to access the graphical user interface. However, if you
use https: to access the setup wizard, you may receive a warning message from your browser about the default
self-signed SSL certificate that is installed on the appliance. See
chapter for information about installing a new SSL certificate.

Initial Configuraton Using the Setup Wizard

When you first log in to the appliance using the graphical user interface, you will be guided through an
initial configuration process, which is explained in more detail below.

Logging In

To start the setup wizard:
Enter the default username and password. When you log in for the first time, the default username is

admin, and the default password is admin.
Click the Log In button.

