Tyre chains

Tyre chains m ay be used only on the drive
wheels (rear ax le). They must be fitted
symmetrically on the tyre to ensure that
they are seated concentric ally.
O nly fine-linked cha ins - not protruding
more tha n 15 mm on the tyre trea d and
inboard sides (including chain lock).
We recommend that you consult y our
Vauxhall Approved Rep airer, who w ill be
pleased to giv e ad vice.
Tyre chains m ay only be used at speed s up
to 30 mph (50 k m/h) and, when travelling
on roads tha t are free of snow, they may
only b e used for b rief periods since they are
sub ject to rapid wear on a hard road and
may snap .
