To install
z During insta lla tion, ensure that the
bracket tether w ires do not becom e
trap ped.
z The bolts should only be tightened using
the tool supplied. Do not over-tighten.
1. Open both doors or lower the windows.
2. With the assistance of another person,
lift the hard top onto the v ehicle,
ensuring the front locates c orrectly and
without trapping the seal, b efore
lowering the rear into position.
3. Install the front dowel bracket, ensuring
it loc ates fully into the cantrail brack et
and retain with the bolt. Do not fully
tighten until the rear c up brackets hav e
been installed .
4. Repeat this operation for the front dowel
bracket on the opposite side.

5. Install the rear cup brack et, ensuring
that the cup locates correctly over the
cantrail brack et (see inset), and retain
with the bolt.
6. Repeat this opera tion for the rear cup
brack et on the op posite side.
7. Fully tighten the front dowel bracket
bolts and the rear cup b racket bolts
using the tool supplied.
The rear cover panels are handed and can
only be insta lled to their respective sides.
8. Install the rear c ov er pa nel and retain
either w ith its bolt or by Velcro
9. Repeat this operation for the cover panel
on the opposite side.
10. Install the front header panel and
tighten the three reta ining b olts.
Finally, check the security of hard top
installation by app ly ing modest upward
pressure in the area of all of the
mounting bra ckets. Repea t the
installation operation if movement of the
ha rd top is ev id ent.
