Starting:

Transm ission in neutral
Depres s clutch
Do not accelerate
Turn key to II
Press starte r button
When the engine starts, use the accelerator
pedal to maintain an increased eng ine
speed until norma l combustion conditions
are obtained, then release the a ccelerator
pedal.

Re leasing the hand brake
Slightly raise lever. Dep ress lock button.
Lower lev er fully.
The mechanic al hand brake acts on the
rear wheels. It engages a utoma tica lly
when applied.
