Soft top

To remove
Ensure that the soft top ca nopy is dry and
that the w indows or doors are open.
Release the latches and rotate the driver's
side c antrail a nd disengage it from the
brackets, repeating the proc edure for the
passenger's side cantrail.
Pull up the front and rea r edges of the soft
top to release the tensioning c ables.
Roll each side of the canop y up to the
centre and plac e in the stowage bag
provided.
Flex the roof bows and disengage. Place
roof bows in the stowage bag and store in
the load compartment. Soft top care, see
page 87.
To inst all
Ensure that the windows are down or that
the vehicle doors are open.
Remove the stowage bag containing the
canop y and roof bows from the loa d
compartment.
Flex roof bows and insta ll in the vehic le
with the arrows on the top surfa ce pointing
forwards.
Unroll soft top canopy and lay loosely over
roof bows with the arrow s on the cantrail
body pointing forwards.
Load one cantrail into the brack et, rotating
down to ensure tha t the latches engage.
From the other side of the vehicle, loa d the
second cantrail and rotate down, ensuring
that the latches engage.
Visually inspect the roof to ensure a good
fit at the front and rear.
