Meaning
The minimum battery capacity before
returning power to load.
The time from a low-battery signal until the
load is shut down.
The time from when the shutdown command
starts until the load is shut down. This time
should allow the operating system to
completely shut down under application
load. You should test the system to measure
the time required to shut down. To do so,
measure the shutdown time on all systems
powered by the UPS. Add 50% to the largest
measured value. The Shutdown Delay
setting must be at least as long as the
computed value to ensure that UPS power
remains during a complete shutdown.
The minimum time from the return of the AC
line to repowering the load.
The time, in hours, that the UPS sleeps
before it restores power to the load.

Meaning
The time, in minutes, required for the
system to shut down. This setting forces
a renegotiation if the Low-Battery
Duration has changed. Renegotiation
may require 10 minutes.
Determines how the UPS is turned on
after the system has shut down. This
setting turns the UPS back on when the
utility power is restored.
