Click OK in the message box.
ftSMC reports the state of the CPU Enclosure as Removed from Service.
7. Right-click the same CPU enclosure and click Update Firmware.

navigate to the folder in which you saved the firmware file, typically in a folder under

C A U T I O N
Never interrupt a BIOS firmware update in progress (for
example, by removing power from the CPU enclosure).
Doing so can result in a corrupted BIOS that cannot be
recovered and may require replacement of the CPU
enclosure.
N O T E
The screen goes blank for approximately one second.
During this period, certain devices (such as keyboard,
mouse, and a USB floppy drive) are temporarily
unavailable. After the devices return to service, you may
need to restart any application that was using the floppy
drive during the BIOS update.
