Fix the plug of the power cord with the release tie.
Wrap the release tie around the power cord. The release tie can be fastened from
either side.
Connect the power cord on the power socket side.
Connect the other end of the power cord plug to a power socket or an inlet on the
power distribution unit.
Turn the PSU switches of the power supply units (PSU#0 and PSU#1) in the drive
enclosure to the ON position (marked "|").
The power of the drive enclosure is turned on and the fan revolves at high speed for
about 30 seconds.
Check that the LINE LED and the POWER LED on the drive enclosure are lit up.

In the [Add Drive Enclosure] screen, click the [Next] button.
The added drive enclosures are recognized and the installation completion screen
appears.
Click the [Done] button.
The [Add Drive Enclosure] screen closes and the screen display returns to the [Storage]
screen of [Component].
In the [Storage] screen of [Component], check that the added drive enclosure is
displayed.
To install more additional drive enclosures, repeat
Install the drives.
For details on drive installation, refer to
(page 57).
Remove the wrist strap.
