FRONT PANEL CONTROLS
1. POWER Button and STANDBY Indicator Light Use to turn the power on and off. The
STANDBY indicator lights when the power is turned off and the player is connected to an AC
power supply.
2. STOP Stops disc play.
3. OPEN/CLOSE Press to open and close the disc tray.
4. Disc Tray Press OPEN/CLOSE to open and close the disc tray.
5. PAUSE Pauses disc play (also use for frame advance).
6. SKIP REV Allows you to move to the beginning of the preceding title, chapter, or track on a
disc (in effect, "skipping" the title, chapter, or track).
7. PLAY Begins disc play (and closes disc tray if open).
8. SKIP FWD Allows you to move to the beginning of the next title, chapter, or track on a disc
(in effect, "skipping" the title, chapter, or track).
9. VOLUME Use to adjust headphone volume level.

12. REV and FWD Dial Allows you to search in reverse or forward during the play mode. The
speed of the search increases the farther the dial is turned.
FRONT PANEL MESSAGES
The following messages appear in the display:
OPEN
CLOSE
NO DISC
OFF
The disc tray is open.
The disc tray is being retracted.
No disc is loaded.
Power has been turned off.
