Installing an External SCSI Device
To install an external SCSI device:
1.
Set the device's SCSI ID to an unused number and enable or disable the device's SCSI
termination according to the vendor's instructions.
2.
Connect one end of the SCSI cable to the SCSI port on the back of the base unit. If other
external devices are installed, connect the SCSI cable to the available SCSI port on the
last device on the SCSI cable chain.
NOTE
Make sure the last device on the chain of external SCSI devices has a SCSI terminator
attached to the open SCSI port.
