Preparation
. OUTPUT/DCC switch (inside panel)
. GAIN switch (inside panel)
. WHITE BAL switch (inside panel)
. On the setup menu, set as follows.
PAGE : S21*LEVEL 4
ITEM : WHITE CLIP
PAGE : S12*FUNCTION 1/2
ITEM : TEST OUT
ITEM : GAMMA
ITEM : TEST SAW
Adjustment Procedure
Equipment : Waveform/Vector monitor
Test point : TEST OUT connector
1. On the setup menu, adjust as follows.
PAGE : S53*VA ADJ. 2/2
ITEM : G PREKNEE (DCC)
: A = 100 ±2 IRE (NTSC)
Spec.
A = 700 ±14 mV (PAL)
2. On the setup menu, set as follows.
PAGE : S53*VA ADJ. 2/2
ITEM : TEST OUT
3. On the setup menu, adjust as follows.
PAGE : S53*VA ADJ. 2/2
ITEM : R PREKNEE (DCC)
Spec. : Position the illuminated spot at the
center of the vector monitor.

4. On the setup menu, adjust as follows.
PAGE : S53*VA ADJ. 2/2
ITEM : B PREKNEE (DCC)
Spec. : Position the illuminated spot at the
center of the vector monitor.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 several times, position the
illuminated spot at the center of the vector monitor.
6. Make sure that the carrier leakage at portion B is
minimum.
Setting After Adjustment
. On the setup menu, set as follows.
