Nudge means to
move a small
amount. To nudge
object(s) using the
keyboard, press
and hold SHIFT
while pressing an
arrow key that
points the direction
you want to move.
To nudge objects:
1. Select
the object
or objects.
2.
Select
Move from
the
Arrange
menu.
A submenu
appears.
3. Select
Nudge
Left, Nudge
Right, Nudge
Up, or Nudge
Down.
The object
moves one pixel
in the direction
you select.
Grouping and Ungrouping
Objects
Grouping
objects
allows
you to work
with them
as if they were
a single
object.
For example,
after grouping
three
rectangles,
you could do any of the
following:
Change
the fill tone for all three
rectangles
all at once.
Rotate them
around
a common
center.
A group can contain
any object, induo_ng
another group.
Move them
as a group
without
changing
their positions
relative
to
one
another.
Resize them
as'a group
while maintaining
their relative
scale.
.After you have
made
changes
to a group,
you can ungroup
it to make
each
component
a separate
object
again.
I_ To group objects:
1. Select
the graphic
objects
to group. A set of bandies
appears
around
each
object.
2. Select
Group
from
the Arrange
menu.
A single set of bandies
appears
around
the group.
I_ To ungroup
objects:
1. Select
the group
you want
to ungroup.
2. Select
Ungroup
from
the Arrange
menu.
Handles
appear
around
the
individual
objects.
