Setup Software

Setup Software is an application for configuring the settings for connecting the unit with the remote cameras and switcher from a personal computer .
The settings can be configured while confirming each item in a list .

Notes
When using Setup Software to configure the settings from a personal computer, observe the following .
z Do not perform any operation on the unit .
z
z Do not start Setup Software on any other computer in the same network .
z
z Do not use "Easy IP Setup Software" supplied with AW‑HE120, AW‑HE60, and AW‑HE50 .

Installing the software

This section describes how to install Setup Software .
1 . Insert the CD‑ROM supplied with the unit into the CD‑ROM drive of the personal computer on which the application is going to be installed .
2 . Copy the entire folder containing "Setup Software" on the CD‑ROM to the hard disk drive of the personal computer .
3 . Double‑click "RP120Tool .exe" in the copied "Setup Software" folder to start Setup Software .

Configuring the settings of the personal computer

Configure the following settings of the personal computer before connecting it to the unit .
IP address : Set an IP address that is not a duplicate of the IP address set on the unit or any IP address set on the devices (remote
Subnet mask : Set the same subnet mask as that set on the unit .
Default gateway : Set the same default gateway as that set on the unit .
Confirm the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway set on the unit in RP SETUP menu [25] .
