Controlling the peripheral devices
connected to a remote camera
The peripheral devices connected to a remote camera can be controlled .
Control the devices with FUNCTION menu [23] .

Press the MENU button .

Open FUNCTION menu [23] .
Controlling an AW‑PS300A AC adapter
When an AW‑PH360 is being controlled with the unit, you can control an
AW‑PS300A AC adapter via the AW‑PH360 .
z For details on how to connect the AW‑PH360 and AW‑PS300A, refer

to the Operating Instructions for each device .
„ Controlling an option switch control output terminal
The short circuiting and open circuiting of the option switch control
output terminal [OPTION SW CONTROL OUT] of the AW‑PS300A can
be controlled .

Turn the F1 dial to display the "1 . OPTION" item .

Turn the F2 dial to select "Off" or "On", and then press
the F2 dial to confirm the selection .
On : Short circuits the OPTION SW CONTROL OUT terminal .
Off : Open circuits the OPTION SW CONTROL OUT terminal .
Note
z When AW‑HE60 is connected, you can switch between normal

shooting mode and night mode in the "1 . OPTION" item .
On : Sets night mode .
Off : Sets normal shooting mode .
When the mode is set to night mode, the shining of an infrared
light on the subject enables shooting under low illumination
which would normally make shooting difficult . Furthermore, the
output video becomes black and white .
Also refer to the Operating Instructions for the AW‑HE60 .
„ Controlling the lamp AC outlet
The ON and OFF of the lamp AC outlet [LAMP AC OUT] of the
AW‑PS300A can be controlled .

Turn the F1 dial to display the "5 . LAMP" item .

the F2 dial to confirm the selection .
On : Enables the LAMP AC OUT connector .
Off : Disables the LAMP AC OUT connector .

Controlling a defroster
When the selected remote camera is equipped with a defroster function
(AW‑PH650 + camera), the defroster can be controlled .

Turn the F1 dial to display the "2 . DEFROSTER" item .
4 .
Turn the F2 dial to select "Off" or "On", and then press
the F2 dial to confirm the selection .

Controlling a wiper
When the selected remote camera is equipped with a wiper function
(AW‑PH650 + camera), the wiper can be controlled .

Turn the F1 dial to display the "3 . WIPER" item .

Turn the F2 dial to select "Off" or "On", and then press
the F2 dial to confirm the selection .

Controlling a heater or fan
When the selected remote camera is equipped with a heater or fan
function (AW‑PH650 + camera), the heater or fan can be controlled .

the F2 dial to confirm the selection .
