Upgrading CPU
The system is capable of hosting a wide range of Intel CPUs'
speed. Upgrading your CPU will increase your computing speed.
The higher the CPU speed you install, the better the system
performance you get. Different CPUs may have different power
voltages. If you want to upgrade the CPU, remember to adjust the
correspondent settings.
Replacing CPU
1. Remove all power sources (AC power and battery).
2. Turn the Notebook over.
3. Remove the CPU cover.
4. Remove the screws that fasten the heat sink mounted on the
CPU (Figure 2 -1).
Note:
Contact your dealer for the proprietary tool to replace the
CPU.
Wait for the CPU to cool down before you start to replace it.
