2 How to Create a Deployment Database
Creating and Modifying Configuration Profiles using the Configuration Wizard Utility
e Partition Configuration - Here you specify how the client PC
workstation's main hard disk partition is to be prepared for the
deployment process.
A default (maximum) installation (Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
Workstation, HP-supplied drivers utilities, and all available
licensed programs) requires an installation partition of at least
850 MB. By default, the partition size is 850 MB for HP
ConfigTailor 1.0 and 2047 MB for HP ConfigTailor 1.1.
If the hard disk drive on client PC workstations that use this
profile has already been formatted, then it will be re-partitioned
and reformatted if either:
the partition size is changed, or

the initial partition format is not FAT16.

Select Yes and type a new partition size if you do not wish to
accept the default. The minimum size you can choose for the
partition is 300 MB. The maximum size is 2047 MB, but the value
you choose must not exceed the current HDD size. The value
you choose cannot subsequently be altered on the client PC
workstations. Therefore, check carefully that the partition size
