2 How to Create a Deployment Database
Creating and Modifying Configuration Profiles using the Configuration Wizard Utility
b Process Configuration - Use these options in this window
(shown below) to specify at what point during the remote
deployment process the installation should be interrupted.
Interrupting the installation process gives you the chance to
upload a disk image to the server or duplicate hard disk drives.
The options available are as follows:
Stop when the Windows NT 4.0 operating system has been
fully installed and is ready to be run for the first time. This is
the default.
Stop on completion of the first installation phase of Windows
NT 4.0, just after all files have been copied to the hard disk.
This is an ideal place to pause if you want to upload an image
of the hard disk to a server—the Windows NT 4.0 SID has been
assigned at this point.
Stop just before the Setup program is run. At this point, batch
files are ready to be launched, and the unattended.txt and
cmdlines.txt files have been prepared. This is an ideal point in
the procedure to duplicate the machine's hard disk or to get
custom unattended.txt and cmdlines.txt files.
