Special Characters with Auto Dial and Speed Dial

You can program the following special instructions in an outside Auto Dial button or
Speed Dial Number:
Touch Hold (pause).
Touch Drop (stop).
Touch Recall and then Hold
(switchhook flash).
Touch Transfer (switch to Touch-
Tone pulse).
The system will pause for 1.5
seconds. This allows for
connection with a PBX or
computer-based service.
The system will stop until it is
reactivated. This allows for
connection with a computer-based
service.
The system puts a switchhook
flash at the beginning of an Auto
Dial sequence. This initiates a
Centrex/PBX feature.
If you have rotary phone lines, the
system switches to Touch-Tone
pulses. This allows your phone to
"talk" with a computer-based
service.
