Station Jacks
To plan how data equipment connects to station jacks on the control unit:
1.
Review System Form 2a, on which you entered codes (A for analog, D for
digital, and B for basic telephone) and find the telephone type and the user,
location, or function for each data station to be connected. Table 3-3 shows
station jack types, corresponding module types, and the equipment that can
be connected.
Note: Plan the connections for analog data, digital data, and local host
computer communications stations according to the following instructions
only if the system includes that station type.
2.
Add the station jack assignments to System Form 2a using the "Planning
Form Instructions" in the shaded boxes.
