Getting Started

1.
Review the floor plan to determine where the voice terminals and control unit will be
located, and where the cable will be routed.
Gather the tools you will need: screwdriver, wire cutters or scissors, telephone cable

stripper, and possibly staples and a stapler, hammer and/or drill, depending on how the
connecting blocks and cables are to be fastened.
Wear adequate eye protection when using the hammer or drill.
