4 Disconnect the heatsink fan cable from its mainboard connector (1).
5 Loosen the four screws that secure the heatsink fan assembly to the
mainboard (2).
6 Lift the heatsink fan assembly off the mainboard (3).
7 Lay down the heatsink in an upright position — with the thermal patch
facing upward. Do not let the thermal patch touch the work surface.
8 Observe the post-installation instructions described on page 27.
