Parameter Description
Save Changes When you have completed the system
configuration changes, select this option
to save the changes and reboot the
computer so that the new system
configuration settings can take effect.
Select Save Changes and Exit, and press
<Enter>. When the dialog box appears,
asking you if you want to exit the BIOS
setup without saving, click Yes to quit
BIOS without saving the changes, or click
No to quit the BIOS and save changes.
Load Default To set this feature, select Load Optimal
Values Defaults from the Exit menu and press
<Enter>. Then select OK to allow the
BIOS to automatically load Optimal
Defaults to the BIOS Settings. The
Optimal settings are designed for
maximum system performance, but may
not work best for all computer
applications.
Save as User Select this feature and press <Enter> to
Defaults save the current settings as the user's
defaults. When the dialog box appears,
asking you if you want to save values as
user's defaults, click Yes to save the
current values as user's default settings,
or click No to keep the defaults previously
saved as the user's defaults.
Load Fail-Safe To set this feature, select Load Fail-Safe
Defaults Defaults from the Exit menu and press
<Enter>. The Fail-Safe settings are
designed for maximum system stability,
but not for maximum performance.
