Under PDL settings the operator has the option to prescan
the first page of the job for DSC comments or to scan the full
job before scheduling.
Normally the operator would click the [Basic] button, that is to
scan the first page, when submitting a PostScript job.
However, if the PostScript files are concatenated, the [Full]
button should be used. This allows all the DSC comments to
be scanned before the job is submitted.
The Adobe factory settings have been updated to better
reflect current technology and performance needs. The new
settings have the greatest impact on VI workflows for the
DT75, DT90, DT61xx and EPS printer families. The impact
on the operator is that they no longer have to manually
modify these parameters for their PS files.
