CAUTION/ACHTUNG/ATTENTION/ATENCION
• Turn off the power switch before installing the needle, otherwise the machine may operate if the treadle is
pressed by mistake, which could result in injury.
• Schalten Sie den Netzschalter vor dem Einsetzen der Nadel aus, weil Verletzungen entstehen können, wenn
sich die Maschine durch unbeabsichtigtes Drücken des Pedals in Gang setzt.

1. Turn the machine pulley to move the needle bar q to
its highest position.
2. Loosen the screw w.
3. Insert the needle e in a straight line as far as it will
go, making sure that the long groove on the needle is
toward the front, and then securely tighten the screw
w.
