5-15-2. Bedienung des Pedals

• There are two types of treadles, one with one forward and one rear stage and one with two forward and two rear
stages. These are provided according to the destination of the machine.

The treadle is at the neutral position q when the treadle is not pressed.
1. When the treadle is gently depressed to position w , low-speed sewing is carried out. If it is then depressed as far as
e, high-speed sewing is carried out.
2. When the treadle is pressed forward and then back to the neutral position q, the needle will stop below the needle
plate (when needle down stop mode has been set).
3. When the treadle is depressed all the way to position r (or if the treadle is depressed to position r and then
returned to the neutral position q), the mechanism will sew half a stitch or one stitch, and then the needle bar will
stop at the needle up stop position. (With the B856E, the thread will be trimmed at this point.)
Furthermore, no needle zigzagging will be carried out at this time.

< If an automatic presser foot lifter is being used >
(DIP switch 1-3 must be set to ON.)
• If the treadle is depressed backward, the sewing machine will stop and the presser foot will be raised. If you would
like to lower the presser foot, depress the treadle backward once more and then return it to the neutral position q.
• When the treadle is depressed forward, the presser foot will be lowered and the sewing machine will then start
sewing.

1. Beim leichten Drücken des Pedals in die Position w näht die Maschine mit niedriger Nähgeschwindigkeit. Wenn das
Pedal danach bis in die Position e gedrückt wird, näht die Maschine mit hoher Nähgeschwindigkeit.
2. Falls das Pedal vorwärts und dann wieder zurück indie Neutralposition q gedrückt wird, stoppt die Nähmaschine
mit abgesrnkter Nadel (falls die Stopposition mit abgesenkter Nadel eingestellt ist).
3. Wenn das Pedal ganz in die Position r gedrückt wird (oder wenn das Pedal in die Position r gedrückt und wieder
in die Neutralposition q zurückgestellt wird) so wird ein halber oder ein ganzer Stich genäht und die Maschine
stoppt mit angehobener Nadelstange. (Bei der B856E wird auch der Faden abgeschnitten.)
Außerdem wird kein Zickzack ausgeführt. (Für einen Nadelzickzack wird auf die Seite 40 verwiesen.)
< Bei Verwendung eines automatischen Stoffdrückerfußhebers >
(DIP-Schalter 1-3 müssen auf "ON" gestellt sein.)
• Wenn das Pedal nach hinten gedrückt wird, stoppt die Nähmaschine mit angehobenem Stoffdrückerfuß. Um die
Nadelstange abzusenken, können Sie das Pedal noch einmal nach hinten drücken und wieder in die Position q
zurückstellen.
• Beim Drücken des Pedals nach vorne wird der Stoffdrückerfuß abgesenkt und die Maschine beginnt zu nähen.
