Mounting the PDU Vertically
NOTE
For additional information, see the instruction sheet that came
with the PDU.
If mounted vertically, the PDU spans 11 EIA units. In this position, it
cannot be placed beside (in the same EIA units as) the LXr Pro8
because receptacles will be covered. In this configuration, the satellite
unit also interferes with power cords when extended from the rear of
the rack for service.
NOTE
When mounted vertically, the PDU mounting holes line up
with holes in the second row of mounting holes, not the "EIA
Unit" row of holes in the vertical face. See Figure 2-6.
