Factory default: Unselected
The setting of this option determines whether protected characters can be sent to the host
or not.
When unselected, both protected and unprotected characters are sent to the host when the
Enter key is pressed. When selected, only unprotected characters are sent to the host
when the Enter key is pressed.

The setting of this option determines whether all characters or only those in selected areas
on the current page are sent to the host when the Enter key is pressed.
When unselected, all characters on the current page are sent when the Enter key is
pressed. When selected, this option enables only the characters in selected areas to be sent
to the host when the Enter key is pressed. The setting of the Send All Selected Areas
option determines which selected areas are sent.
Factory default: Selected
When the Send Only Selected Characters option is selected, the setting of this option
determines whether all selected areas on a page are sent to the host when the Enter key is
pressed, or only the area containing the cursor.
When selected, this option enables all selected areas to be sent to the host. When unse-
lected, only the selected area containing the cursor is sent to the host.
Factory default: Unselected
The setting of this option determines whether data is sent to the host a single line at a time
or a full or partial page at a time when the Enter key is pressed.
When selected, a single line of valid characters is sent to the host. In this mode the Return
key has the same function as Enter. When unselected, a full or partial page is sent to the
host when the Enter key is pressed. The size of the page is determined by the setting of
the Send Partial Page and Transmit Protocol options.
