Displaying the LAN Station Address

Displaying the LAN Station Address
It is sometimes necessary to supply a LAN station
address of your workstation to other users. For
example, if your workstation is to become a member
of a cluster, the cluster administrator needs to know
your LAN station address in order to add your work-
station to the cluster.
To display your workstation's LAN station address,
type the following at the prompt:
lanaddress
The LAN station address is displayed as a twelve-digit
number in hexadecimal notation, similar to the
following:
LAN Station Address:080009-789abc
164
