NOTICE: When mounting the disk slides on a drive, make
sure that the end with the locking tab is toward the
rear, or connector end, of the drive.

on setting the SCSI IDs of storage devices and
storage tray configuration information
5 Check the manufacturer's labeling on the disk drive to

determine if it is a disk manufactured by Hewlett-Pack-
ard. If it is a Hewlett-Packard disk, remove the disk
shield (EMI gasket) from the drive, as shown in Figure
30.
If you are re-installing a hard disk manufactured by
Hewlett-Packard, you need to install a disk shield on the
disk first. See Figure 30. A disk shield is shipped with
the system in the hardware accessory kit.
