WARNING: The printer is
very heavy. Make sure you
have four people lift it.
Caution: Do not roll the
printer on angled or
uneven surfaces.
6. Remove the two wing nuts and lock washers securing the printer to the
stand (underneath the printer). Keep them in a safe place.
7. Lift the printer using the handgrips, two in front and two in back.
8. Keep the printer level while moving it. See page 103 for information
about setting up the printer after transporting it.
To ship the printer a longer distance, you should repack it using the original
box and packing materials. If you don't have the original packaging, you can
purchase replacement packaging from Epson. See page 10 for more
information.

Moving the Printer on the Stand

When you need to move the printer a short distance, such as within the same
building, you can roll the printer on its casters.
1. Press the P power button to turn off the printer.
Wait until the lights on the control panel stop flashing and go out, and
then unplug the printer.
2. Disconnect the power cord and interface cable.
3. Remove any paper and close the roll paper cover. Make sure the front
cover is closed.
4. Remove the film basket as described on page 64.
5. Store the paper basket as described on page 72.
