Explanation
No paper is loaded.
The
button has been
pressed with no paper loaded.
Paper ran out during printing.
The
button has been
pressed.
The paper is not detected.
The paper source selected in
your printer software and the
control panel do not match.
The loaded paper size does not
match the size of the image.
Paper is not loaded straight.
You tried to print while an error
condition was present.
It's been a week since the
white ink cartridge was shaken.
The maintenance tank is almost
full.
During automatic head
cleaning, the printer was
unable to clean the print head
after one or two cleaning
cycles.

Load paper.
Press the
button, then load paper.
Press the
button and remove the roll
paper core. Then load another roll.
Load paper, then press the

Check the paper source settings and make
sure the paper is loaded correctly.
Make sure the paper size matches the size
of the image.

Press the P power button to turn off the
printer, then turn it back on.
To maintain optimal print quality, shake the
white ink cartridge as soon as possible. See
page 79 for instructions.
Make sure you have a replacement
maintenance tank.
You can continue to print, but you may
notice a decline in print quality. If necessary,
check and clean the print head as described
on page 83.
