User IDs

User IDs are used for the Key Lock
function (and for the Report Before
Transmission function explained on
page 39). These codes are used to
restrict the use of the machine to
authorized users.
Setting (or clearing) user IDs
Follow the steps below to set (or clear)
a user ID. Up to 10 user IDs can be set.

If you selected SET, enter a 2-digit
number from 01 to 10 (enter "0"
before numbers 1 to 9). This
number is used to identify the user
ID you will enter in the next step.
(If you selected CLEAR, enter the
number from 01 to 10 that identifies
the user ID you want to clear.)

Enter the desired user ID with the
number keys (any 4-digit number).
(If you are clearing a user ID, enter
the user ID that you want to clear
and go to Step 9.)
