Key Lock Function

Key Lock Function
The Key Lock function restricts use of
the machine to authorized users. When
the machine is locked with this function,
a valid 4-digit user ID (or the
administrator code) must be entered
each time a user wishes to use the
machine.
When the Key Lock function is
activated, the only actions that are
possible without entering a user ID
are fax reception and receiving voice
calls on the handset. Outgoing voice
calls (including emergency calls) and
fax transmission are not possible.
Activating the Key Lock
function (locking the machine)
To activate the Key Lock function, follow
the steps below.
To activate the Key Lock function, at
least one user ID must be set.
