Setting the Reception Mode

The machine has the following modes
for receiving incoming faxes:
FAX mode:
The machine automatically answers all
calls on 2 rings and begins fax
reception.
TEL mode:
All calls, including faxes, must be
answered by picking up the
machine's handset or another phone
connected to the same line.
TEL/FAX (T/F) mode:
The machine automatically answers all
calls on 4 rings. If the machine detects
that a call is a voice call (including a
manually dialed fax), it makes a special
ringing sound to alert you to answer. If
the machine detects that the call is an
automatically dialed fax, it begins
reception automatically.
To set the reception mode, press
RECEPTION
until the the desired reception
mode appears in the display.
