• After having drained the rod oil as described in chaper
2, section D, the following liner components are visible:
check-nut "A", spring retaining washer "B", pre-load
pipe"C", spring "D", support washer "E".
Replace these components if they are damaged.

C :
ARTRIDGE
• Lock the cartridge in a vice equipped with aluminium
jaw coverings;
• Move the foot valve inside the cartridge, using a mallet
if necessary;
• Remove the seeger-ring "A";
• Push the plunger "B" upwards and extract the foot val-
ve "C";
• Check the foot valve, its O ring and the plunger; replace
them if they are damaged.
