Memory Banks
In the Compaq ProLiant 5500 server, the Memory board is grouped into 4
banks where 1 bank is 2 DIMMs adjacent to 2 other DIMMs as shown below
for bank 1. When memory is added, you must add 1 bank at a time. Memory
banks are also identified on a label on the inside of the access panel.
