Chapter 4
Configuring a Unified In-Service Software
Upgrade
This chapter describes how to prepare for and perform a unified in-service software
upgrade (unified ISSU) of JUNOSe Software on E120 and E320 Broadband Services
Routers. A unified in-service software upgrade provides a way to upgrade to a
higher-numbered release while minimizing the effect of the upgrade on traffic
forwarded through the router.
