Type: SEVERE:NIDP:INITIALIZE:002
Type: SEVERE:NIDP:USERMSG:001
Cause: An action using Liberty or SAML protocols
could not be completed because the server and trusted
provider are not compatibly configured to interact to
complete the action.
Action: Set the desired protocol profiles in the
administration tool to match those supported at the
trusted provider.
Type: SEVERE:NIDP:USERMSG:043
Cause: The IDP cannot connect to the metadata URL
for the ESP. The IDP may not be able to resolve the
domain name for the ESP or if HTTPS is being used,
the IDP may not trust the SSL certificate for the ESP.
The ESP might also not be running.
Action: Make sure that certificates for ESP are
imported and trusted into IDP configuration. Check the
metadata URL for the ESP and make sure the metadata
can be retrieved from a browser: http://<DNS_name>/
nesp/idff/metadata
If you are seeing this error after changing the IP
address of the Linux Access Gateway, restart Tomcat
on the Identity Server.
