WORKING WITH FLASH

Use the integral flash to take pictures in poor light, to
relieve shadows around backlit subjects (with fill-in flash)
or to create special effects.

Notes:
• When using a high-speed film ( ISO 400/27 or faster
), keep bright areas of your subject (faces, bright
clothing) about 1.5 metres away from the camera,
otherwise the flash effect will be overdone and the
subject will appear too bright and won't have enough
detail.
• In very large rooms with dark furniture and/or a dark
wooden ceiling and when shooting outdoors, go a
little under the values given in the above table when
calculating the maximum flash range.
