MANUALLY CONTROLLED TIME EXPOSURE
(BULB )
In this mode the film is exposed as long as you keep the
shutter release pressed down. Only use this feature
when the available light is fairly poor, otherwise you'll
overexpose the film.
1. Press the MODE button until the arrow in the LCD
panel points to BULB.
2. The exposure time is shown in the LCD panel.

Note:
• For time exposures, always support the camera on a
firm base or a tripod.
Hint:
• Use time exposures for photographs of fireworks,
thunderstorms or illuminated moving subjects (e.g.
fair-ground rides, cars). These light sources will ap-
pear as shorter or longer lines in the picture depend-
ing on the exposure time.
• Combine time exposure with a flash exposure. Ghost-
ing around the sharp flash contours may create an
attractive effect.
