Special instructions

• The camera only works when the batteries are in-
serted.
• Two 3-V-lithium batteries (type CR-2) are required.
• The lens cover opens automatically when you switch
the camera on.
• Don't try to open the lens cover without switching on
the camera.
• The shutter can be triggered even without any film
being loaded! If you haven't used the camera for
some time, you may not be sure whether it has any
film. You can check this by looking in the film window.

In the following cases the shutter release is locked:

• No batteries.
• Batteries dead.
• Batteries incorrectly inserted.
• Camera not switched on-
• Focus could not be set-
• One of the zoom buttons is pressed.
• Flash switched on, but not "ready".
• The film is being advanced or rewound.
• The film cartridge wasn't removed after rewinding.
