III. Checking after power-up
After the firewall is powered up, please check:
The LEDs on the front panel are normal.
Refer to section 1.2.3 "LEDs" for the LED description.
The console terminal display is correct.
After powering up the firewall, you can see the startup window on the console terminal
(see section 4.1.3 "Booting Process"). After the startup (or power-on self-test), you are
prompted to press <Enter>. When the prompt <H3C> appears, the system is ready for
your configuration.

4.1.3 Booting Process

After being powered up, the firewall first runs the Boot ROM program. The terminal
screen displays the following system information.

The contents displayed on the terminal may vary with Boot ROM versions.
