xWhen JPEG is selected
Frame rate
Set the maximum frame rate of JPEG image that can be
monitored on the computer.
Selectable values are fallows.
NTSC: Fastest, 15, 10, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 fps
PAL: Fastest, 12, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 fps
When Fastest is seleted, images are transmitted at the
maximum frame rate (NTSC: Max. 30 fps/PAL: Max.
25 fps) for the connected network.
Image quality
Select the image quality from Level 1 to Level 10.
A higher level gives a higher image quality, but the
frame rate decreases as the data size increases.
Note
When you set Image quality to more than Level 6, the
selectable Frame rate is automatically limited.
For example, when you set to Level 10, only 5, 4, 3, 2
and 1 can be selected in Frame rate.
Configuring the Network
– Network setting Page
When you click Network on the Administrator menu,
the Network setting page appears.
Use this page to configure the network to connect this
unit and the computer.

Wired LAN setting Section

This section provides the menus for connecting this unit
through the network cable.
DHCP
Select On to assign the IP address to this unit
automatically. When you have assigned a proper IP
address to this unit, select Off.
Note
When you set DHCP to On, make sure that there is an
DHCP server on the network.
DNS auto acquisition
When DHCP is set to On, select if the IP address of the
DNS server is assigned automatically or not. Select On
to assign the IP address of the DNS server automatically.
IP address
Type the IP address of this unit.
Subnet mask
Type the subnet mask.
Default gateway
Type the default gateway.
MAC address
Displays the MAC address of the camera.
Primary DNS
Type the IP address of the primary DNS server.
