As shown in the above illustration, the primary station of IXS-6700/IXS-6600 can be connected to the
secondary station of IXS-6700/IXS-6600 directly by network.
The cross-points of the secondary stations IXS-6700/IXS-6600 that are connected via network can be
switched by the switching commands from the Routing Switcher Control Unit that is connected to the
REMOTE1 (S-BUS) of the primary station of IXS-6700/IXS-6600.
When the direct connection via network (Ethernet connection as shown above), various operations of
IXS-6700/IXS-6600 can be controlled from remote locations by using the GUI software such as BZR-20/
-21/-240 that are installed in a PC. For example, cross-points can be switched via Ethernet from the BZR-
21 (Remote Control Panel GUI) that is installed in a PC of remote location. Results of cross-point
switching are reflected to the Routing Switcher Control Unit (Remote Control Panel) that is connected to
the S-BUS.
* : Be sure to connect both the NETWORK A and B connectors to Ethernet.
