Certain devices may leave the factory with custom settings, which could result in a different default con-
figuration than listed above.
To access the device's configuration console using the Telnet IP protocol, follow these steps:
Regesta Smart v2 Nessum
• Configure the Ethernet interface of your IP terminal (typically a PC) with an IP
address in the range of 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254, and set the subnet
mask to 255.255.255.0 (e.g., 192.168.1.2, 255.255.255.0).
• Connect the Ethernet interface of the IP terminal to the router's LAN1 connect-
or using the provided RJ45 Ethernet cable.
• Initiate a Telnet session from the IP terminal to the default IP address,
192.168.1.1 (for the Regesta Smart v2 Nessum).
• No credentials (username/password) are required to access the console under
the default configuration.
