The operating system cannot
read from the hard drive,
optical drive, or USB device,
the system could not find a
particular sector on the disk,
or the requested sector is
defective.
There is no device connected
to the specified SATA port.
Corrective Actions
Reseat the PCIe card in the
specified slot number. See
"Troubleshooting Expansion
Cards." If the problem
persists, see "Getting Help."
Install the NVRAM_CLR
jumper in the clear position
(pins 1 and 3) and reboot the
system. See Figure 6-1 for
jumper location. If the
problem persists, see
"Troubleshooting Expansion
Cards."
Ensure that the memory
modules are installed in a
valid configuration. See
"General Memory Module
Installation Guidelines."
Replace the optical medium,
USB medium, or USB
device. Ensure that the USB
cables, SAS/SATA backplane
cables, or optical drive cables
are properly connected. See
"Troubleshooting a USB
Device", "Troubleshooting
an Optical Drive", or
"Troubleshooting a Hard
Drive" for the appropriate
drive(s) installed in your
system.
